About
The youngest daughter of the Prophet ﷺ and Khadīja, and the one of his children who outlived him, by a few months. He said, 'Fāṭima is a part of me' (Bukhārī), and in his final illness told her she would be the first of his family to follow him and the chief of the women of Paradise (Bukhārī). Married to ʿAlī after Badr, she was the mother of al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn; through her sons the Prophet's ﷺ line continues.
