Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Anbiya (the "Service") operated by Anbiya ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age and are fully able and competent to enter into, abide by, and comply with these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Anbiya provides an interactive explorer of the prophetic lineage of the Qurʼan, including family tree visualization, relationship browsing, study notes, PDF export, and teaching tools. The Service is offered on a freemium basis with optional paid subscription tiers:
- Free: Access to core exploration features at no cost.
- Pro ($4.99/month): Unlocks the full cast of figures, study notes, PDF export, timeline view, additional filters, and Qurʼan translations.
- ʿĀlim ($9.99/month): Includes all Pro features plus Teaching Mode and curriculum study sets.
3. User Accounts
An account is optional. You may browse the Service, and may purchase a subscription through the mobile app, without registering. An account is required only for features tied specifically to you, such as saving personal study notes and syncing a subscription across devices.
If you do create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Not create multiple accounts or impersonate any person or entity
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Where you subscribe: Subscriptions purchased on the website are billed through Stripe and are tied to your account. Subscriptions purchased in the mobile app are billed and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; an account is not required to purchase, and signing in only links the subscription to your account so it syncs across devices. For store-billed subscriptions, billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the applicable app store's terms and are managed in your device's subscription settings.
Billing cycles: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date. All fees are charged in US dollars.
Automatic renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time — web subscriptions through your account settings, and mobile in-app subscriptions through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until that date.
Refunds: We offer refunds within 7 days of the initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the Service. After 7 days, all fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. To request a refund, contact support@anbiya.net.
Price changes: We may modify subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Teaching Mode & Study Sets
The ʿĀlim plan includes Teaching Mode and the ability to create personal curriculum study sets. Study sets are private to your account. We reserve the right to limit automated, abusive, or excessive use of these features.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Transmit unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without our written permission
- Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other user's use of the Service
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding the Qurʼanic text and third-party translations), features, and functionality are owned by Anbiya and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any study notes or content you create within the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Qurʼanic text and its translations displayed in the Service (including the Arabic Uthmani text and the Sahih International translation) are the work of their respective sources and are not subject to our intellectual property claims.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted access. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
We make no warranty regarding the religious or historical accuracy, completeness, or interpretation of any information presented in the Service. Some genealogical links and figures are drawn from hadith, classical tafsir, or tradition and are labelled accordingly; these are provided for study and are not a substitute for qualified scholarship. Users are encouraged to verify information against the Qurʼan and reliable scholarly sources.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Anbiya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe (web payment processing), the Apple App Store and Google Play with RevenueCat (mobile in-app subscriptions), and Supabase (authentication and data storage). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of those third parties.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, by sending an email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
