The prophets should be explored,
not just listed.
Anbiya maps the prophets of the Qur'an, their relationships, and their stories into an interactive experience that rewards curiosity and deepens understanding.
The Qur'an names twenty-five prophets — from Ādam to Muhammad ﷺ — alongside the righteous and the figures of their time. Their stories intersect in ways a linear reading rarely makes visible. Anbiya was built to surface those connections.
We believe rigorous study and genuine reflection are not opposites. The lineages and relationships woven through the Qur'an carry real weight — and they reward attention. Anbiya treats both as true at once. Every node is grounded in the Qur'an; where a connection comes from authenticated hadith or classical tafsir we say so, and where it rests on tradition we mark it as uncertain. Nothing is presented as more certain than its source.
At the same time, we designed the experience to feel alive. The force-directed graph responds to your exploration. Filters let you isolate the threads you care about. The timeline gives chronological footing. Study notes let you capture what you discover. We want a student of knowledge and a curious ten-year-old to both find something worth returning to.
Sourced, and labelled
Every prophet, relationship, and era maps to the Qur'an, authenticated hadith, or tafsir — and we label which. We cite the source, not the assumption.
Academically serious
Relationship types — parent, sibling, successor, contemporary — are chosen with care. The distinctions matter, and we treat them that way.
Built to be enjoyed
Exploring the tree should feel like discovery. We obsess over interaction design so the tool gets out of the way and the Qur'an stays in front.
Made for teaching
From personal study notes to Teaching Mode and curriculum study sets, Anbiya supports individual study and the classroom alike.
Blue Lagoon Consulting LLC
Anbiya is a product of Blue Lagoon Consulting LLC, a software company registered in Washington State in 2024. We are a small, focused team with a long-term commitment to building tools that make the study of the Qur'an's prophets more accessible — without sacrificing depth.
We have no interest in building the loudest product in the room. We would rather build the one that a teacher, a student, or a curious reader returns to year after year because it keeps rewarding attention.
