About
Not the prophet Ibrāhīm, but the last child of the Prophet ﷺ, named after his forefather (Muslim). He was born in Madīna to Māriya the Copt and died before the age of two. The Prophet ﷺ wept and said, 'the eye weeps and the heart grieves, but we say only what pleases our Lord' (Bukhārī). The sun was eclipsed on the day he died, and people said it was for his death; the Prophet ﷺ taught that the sun and moon do not eclipse for anyone's death (Bukhārī).
