About
Daughter of Abū Bakr and a Mother of the Believers (33:6). Married in Makkah, she joined the Prophet's ﷺ household in Madīna, and became one of the most prolific narrators of his hadith and a teacher of the Companions, men and women alike. When slander was spread against her, the Qurʼan itself declared her innocence (24:11–26; Bukhārī). The Prophet ﷺ died in her apartment and was buried there (Bukhārī).
